Donna Latham, the founder of Latham International shares her insight on international matchmaking in an interview to Quintessentially Magazine.

Q1. What line of work are you in?
I am delighted to be an international matchmaker and at Latham International, we bring people together who wouldn’t otherwise get the opportunity to meet each other. We facilitate the creation of long-lasting relationships based on love and friendship.
I am pleased that we have members, seeking unique relationships, who range from Saudi Arabian royalty, diplomats, private and investment bankers, hedge fund directors, petrochemical executives, Russian Ballerinas and cover models, as well as, graduates from Ivy League and Oxbridge institutions.
Without hesitation I would say the Hélène Darroze at the Connaught. The quality of the food served is absolutely outstanding and the ambience is both romantic and charismatic.
The service is impeccable and the restaurant’s curved booths creates the opportunity to enjoy a truly private conversation that enables people to discover an intimate connection. The sublime atmosphere and opportunities which are created by this dining experience is something I recommend for my clients at Latham International.

Q3. What do you like most about being a Quintessentially member
It’s really great having a team of people at the end of an e-mail or a telephone 24 hours a day.
I like how the Quintessentially team took the time to be cognisant of my requirements and understand what works for me and my clients. They are alway striving to ensure that I and my clients always have the very best experiences.
I would say there are two particular experiences which standout so far.
The team’s recommendation of Hotel Raffles Istanbul which is a luxurious and comforting modern establishment right on the doorstep of Istanbul. It has all of the charm of its’ Singaporean name-sake, with high quality staff who effortlessly went the extra mile. The spa facilities offered the perfect opportunity for me to relax in tranquil luxury after a day of exploring the city’s many sites.
Also, I have to mention my experience in Paris with Quintessentially, where the team organised a meal at one of the best restaurants I have been too. This was my first experience with Quintessentially and I needed a restaurant booking to entertain one of my royalty clients. I was not disappointed then and now their profound recommendations continue to be second to none.

My personal ambition has always been to be able to help people less fortunate than myself. I am passionate about this and with Latham International I want to pioneer a charitable foundation to support diversity and equality all over the globe to ensure my goal is achieved.
